I accidentically spilled turmeric on the carpet. Yuck !!!

Anyway, I did attend to it straight away. I did one mistake though initially, should use carpet straight away to get rid of the powder so that it would not spread. I panicked a little and did a research and found a few comments that they could not be gotten rid of etc etc. Some of the solutions include the vingegar and baking soda mixture.

So, I had a bit spot of bright orange. I started using the vinegar and baking soda as I like the natural cleaning agents if it is effective. It seems a little too strong though. Hence, I tried to find other cleaning liquid I have. I finally settled with the Clorox, Oxy Magic. It did not do too well initially. I kept rinse it off then leave more concentrated liquid on it. I finally got to the stage where I could only see a hint of yellow mark. But being a kinda perfectionist (or stubborn LOL).  I rinsed it off to get rid of the dirty water. I put more to see how far it would go.

I guess I just learnt from this lesson that persistent pays. We need to keep trying till we hit the wall, then we know maybe it is our destiny to be so. It is not so bad whatever the destiny is. Everything is a lesson to be learnt.
