I found out today that there might have been hundreds of books which are hidden from the Bible. Apparently, some of these ancient texts belong to the heritage of Judaism and Christianity. One book in particular, the Book of Enoch is considered sacred by some, such as The Ethiopian Church (Reluctant-messenger.com website).
From quick reading from some of the so called lost books of the Bible, I would like to bring forth the importance of protecting the animals if we are to follow Jesus Christ's teachings.
The Need to Show Love through Loving Action

And Jesus himself sat down in their midst and said: "I tell you
truly, none can be happy, except he do the Law." And the others answered: "We all do the laws of Moses, our lawgiver,
even as they are written in the holy scriptures."
And Jesus answered: "Seek not the law in your scriptures, for the
law is life, whereas the scripture is dead. I tell you truly, Moses received
not his laws from God in writing, but through the living word. The law is
living word of living God to living prophets for living men. In everything that
is life is the law written. You find it in the grass, in the tree, in the
river, in the mountain, in the birds of heaven, in the fishes of the sea; but
seek it chiefly in yourselves. For I tell you truly, all living things are
nearer to God than the scripture which is without life. God so made life
and all living things that they might by the everlasting word teach the laws of
the true God to man. God wrote not the laws in the pages of books, but in
your heart and in your spirit. They are in your breath, your blood, your
bone; in your flesh, your bowels, your eyes, your ears, and in every little
part of your body. They are present in the air, in the water, in the earth, in
the plants, in th e sunbeams, in the depths and in the heights. They all speak
to you that you may understand the tongue and the will of the living God. But
you shut your eyes that you may not see, and you shut your ears that you may
not hear. I tell you truly, that the scripture is the work of man, but life
and all its hosts are the work of our God. Wherefore do you not listen to the
words of God which are written in His works? And wherefore do you study the
dead scriptures which are the work of the hands of men?"
Lessons:
Written words are cheap without application. To be loving, we need to show it in action and not just follow the written Scriptures. They mainly provide basic guides only. We need to follow our heart what is right and wrong. We all have conscience, that little voice of love within our selves, that tell us if we are doing something against the law, especially the natural law.
That's it the lesson that Jesus Christ wants us to follow based on the lost book of the Bible above. We all know that killing animals for food is not loving and that's against the nature of life. Nature is about growth, just like plant that keeps growing more when we cut one of its branches. Taking the life of an animal is cruel, and unloving. For a loving man, to be the cause of suffering and death to others including animal is not acceptable.
The Meaning of Love according to the Lost Book of the Bible
Taken from Essene Gospel of Peace, reluctant- messenger.com
Love is patient, love is kind. Love is not envious, works not evil,
knows not pride; is not rude, neither selfish; is slow to anger, imagines no
mischief; rejoices not in injustice, but delights in justice. Love defends all,
love believes all, love hopes all, love bears all; never exhausts itself.
Lessons:
From this passage, especially the quote " rejoices not in injustice, love defends all", love would mean that for our love within our heart to be complete, we would defend especially the weak ones like the animals from cruel treatments and slaughters. Go veg may be a testimony on how much love we have grown inside us from learning the Bible. We would have the courage to defend the defenceless farm creatures from slaughters everyday for our food.
Killing animals after treating them with cruelty their whole life, does not exemplify justice. There is no justice in breeding animals so that they could suffer and be killed before their time. Make a stand for love and say no to MEAT and unnecessary animal cruelty and mass murder. Make your "Go Veg" pledge today and help Earth reverse its destructive path in the process.
