Dilemma Facing Vegans/Vegetarians in Finding Suitable Partners

Not an Easy Lifestyle Choice from Relationship Point of View

Study by Paul Amato,  Ph.D. and Sonia A. Partridge ("The New Vegetarians") reveals that most single vegetarians prefer to date other vegetarians. This lifestyle choice presents an issue though as vegetarians and vegans are still a minority in this world. Despite all the vast of information available online and offline about the virtue of vegetarianism, not many people are jumping the board even for their own health sake.

It's hard enough finding eligible partner whatever their sexuality is, trying to find your vegetarian other half makes it seemingly impossible. Vegetarians or vegans hence face a dilemma of compromising or staying true to their own value system. Do they keep trying till they hit the walls or relax their requirements ?  If they relax their requirements, could they still stay true to their core value and be happy with it ?  Or do these vegetarians or vegans try to change their partner ? Could this sort of relationship last ?

If they like to choose finding a partner with the same value, how could these vegetarians or vegans their true love ? The Internet is full with forums/clubs/dating sites for vegetarians. Joining a local vegetarian club might be a great way to meet somebody and who knows their other half might happen to think the same way. Members are club is equally scarce as the general vegetarian/vegan population on this planet. We all hope this is going to change soon, and the day would come that vegetarians or vegans are the majority of this world's population, not the very minor group any more.
